Metta Krach is a California native known for being a devoted education advocate, passionate supporter of the arts and highly skilled real estate attorney. She currently serves on the Board of Governors for the San Francisco Symphony, Legal Committee for the Bay Area Discovery Museum, Georgetown Law Board of Visitors, and works to help numerous philanthropic organizations through the Krach Family Foundation. Metta has previously served on the Georgetown Law School Admissions Committee (California) and the Board of Advisors for Ageless Alliance.
Metta began her legal career as a Real Estate Law attorney for a US Top 10 law firm, Greenberg Traurig, LLP. In 2005, Metta went to work in-house at Gap, Inc., serving as Senior Corporate Counsel until 2012. Metta earned her B.A. in History from UCLA in 1998, and was the International Sweetheart of Sigma Chi from 1997-1999. She earned her JD from Georgetown University Law Center in 2001 and is admitted to the Bar in both New York and California.
Metta and her husband Keith Krach (Chairman of DocuSign) reside in the city of San Francisco. They have 5 children who are their best friends: Monika (Princeton; engaged to be married to Abe Borker), Steve (USC; engaged to be married to Marissa Tager), Carter (Purdue) and 5-year-old twins, JD & Emma.
